ABOUT ME

Lina Trieu is a Vietnamese American multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores themes of cultural identity, memory, and personal history. Grounded in lived experience, her work reflects the spaces she moves through and the cultural influences that shape her understanding of heritage, environment, and self. Through material and process, Trieu examines how memory is embedded in place and everyday experience, creating quiet, reflective imagery that invites emotional exploration. Her work often draws from personal narrative while engaging with broader cultural symbolism and the natural world. Her exhibitions include Investigation of the Undergraduate at Westin Gallery, and Home and Under Pressure at Western Michigan University.
